What lives in an item folder
- The copied or downloaded source as original.*.
- Readable timestamped transcript Markdown and timed JSON.
- Generated SRT and VTT caption files.
- Overviews, briefs, study guides, notes and other AI documents as Markdown or JSON.
- New clips, converted files, cleaned audio, audiograms and captioned copies.
Reveal the real folder
Use Media Mill’s Finder commands to reveal the Library or the current item. Export to folder copies selected outputs to another location without changing the Library copy.
Indexes are rebuildable
The SQLite search index and local passage embeddings are caches. Media Mill can rebuild them from item folders. Those folders are the record that matters.
