Unmarked Privacy Policy

Unmarked collects no personal data. There is no account, no tracking, and the app has no network access at all. Your files stay on your Mac.

The app

You never give us an email or any other detail to use Unmarked. There is no account.
The app does not measure or record how you use it. No analytics, no tracking.
No network access. Unmarked is sandboxed with no network permission, so it cannot send or fetch anything online. Its permissions cover only the files you open, remembering them for Recent, and printing.
Your files stay on your Mac. Unmarked opens a file where it already lives and saves changes back to that same file. It never uploads your content and never keeps a hidden copy.
Diagnostics, only when you ask. When you choose Help → Contact Support, the app drafts an email with your macOS version and Mac model filled in, so we can help faster. Nothing is sent until you send it.

We run no advertising trackers, no third-party analytics, and no marketing cookies, and we sell nothing.

If you email us, we receive your message and address so we can reply, and we use them for that and nothing else.

If we update this policy, the effective date above will change.
